These cutting-edge electronics not only seamlessly integrate with the human body but can also thrive in remote and challenging environments such as desolated places on Earth, underwater, and even outer space, and self-repair whenever needed to enhance lifetime and durability. Our unique focus lies in making these advanced and sophisticated electronics semi-disposable and incredibly affordable compared to existing alternatives.

A history of Innovation

From the beginning of his research career, our CEO (Prof. Dolatshahi-Pirouz) have pursued a singular goal: to create electronics that are highly animated, adaptable, and almost lifelike, enabling a seamless merging of human beings with the digital realm.

 

The pioneering efforts in the field of soft, affordable, abundant, and self-healing electronics were initiated by Professor Dolatshahi-Pirouz and his esteemed research team, known as #TeamBioEngine, at the Danish Technical University in Copenhagen, Denmark. With a strong emphasis on innovation and commercialization, #TeamBioEngine has made significant contributions to the field, resulting in multiple patents that have been acquired by Cybosense. In 2019, a groundbreaking paper published by #TeamBioEngine in Advanced Science demonstrated the application of low-cost,

highly scalable ionic conductors for strain, pressure, and touchpad sensing This pivotal research paved the way for future advancements in flexible and sensitive electronics. In a significant milestone for the field, the team later published a landmark study titled: The Manufacture of Unbreakable Bionics via Multifunctional and Self-healing Silk-Graphene Hydrogels; in Advanced Materials in 2022. This groundbreaking research highlighted the potential of self-healing and soft electronics to enhance the durability and longevity of consumer electronics.
